Most of my work with clients is done via Zoom.  Like many therapists,

I started using Zoom during Covid and found it to be a really

effective way of working.  Clients enjoy not having to take time out to

travel to my room as well as avoiding long traffic queues and bad

weather.  It also allows me to keep my session fees at a reasonable

For those clients who prefer face to face work, I see clients on Fridays

in Richmond and on Thursdays at my home office in Redwood Valley.

Appointment Information

My sessions run for 55 minutes with an additional 5 minutes for booking and payment.  I also offer extended sessions by arrangement (up to 90 minutes)

My session fee is $130 and is payable on the day through internet banking or you can pay by cash at your appointment.  I have managed to keep my fee charge the same for three years and endeavour to do this for as long as it is manageable.

I am also a registered counsellor for Work and Income New Zealand.  Check online or at your local WINZ office to see if they may help toward the cost of your counselling.

Cancellation Policy

Like most therapists, I do operate a standard cancellation policy.  There is no charge for appointments cancelled with 24 hours notice but for appointments cancelled on the day (outside of emergency situations) the full session fee is charged.  This is because I am not able to offer that appointment time to another client at short notice.  Similarly, I will always endeavour to give at least 24 hours or more if I need to reschedule an appointment.
